What I Wore When I Went to the Sunflower Fields
I recently took a walk through the beautiful sunflower fields near to where I live. I love sunflowers and seeing a field full of them is an amazing experience! Of course, this was the perfect excuse to take some photos of the sunflowers and my coordinated outfit. This is what I wore when I went to the sunflower fields.
Every summer we are privileged to have fields upon fields of full grown sunflowers in our area. Unfortunately, sunflowers only live between 2-3 weeks, so if you want to capture them at their best, you'll need to make the effort to see them on time. While I love all flowers, there is something extra special about seeing certain varieties growing freely and in abundance. When I got to the sunflower fields close to my home, all I could see for miles were fully grown sunflowers in all their beauty. The sunflowers used for producing seeds and oil grow to full height, meaning that they were taller than me. Their heads are bigger than my outstretched hands and their leaves longer than my fingers. Admittedly, I think I should have gone earlier to see the sunflower fields because by now they're beginning to look a little less perky, probably due to the rain and the fact that they are coming to the end of their season. Naturally, I wasn't going to leave without taking some photos and so I wore a yellow dress for the occasion. Keep scrolling to shop my look.
