The 60s Inspired Transitional Outfit that's Perfect for Autumn
Transition your style from summer to fall effortlessly, with this super cool 60s inspired transitional outfit that's perfect for autumn!
I love the laid-back "less is more" vibe of the 90s. It's a trend we've witnessed reappear in full bloom in stores over the last two years. Yet, I am excited to see elements of the 60s surfacing on the fashion scene. The heavy makeup, false lashes, lacquered hair, and glamorous clothes typically epitomise the swinging sixties. And quite rightly, 60s glamour is fun and quirky in its own way. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing how this trend evolves over the course of AW20 into SS20.
There's always a film or an occasion that sets off a new obsession with a particular fashion style. Since the release of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", there has been a reignited interest in some of prominent icons that feature in the film, in particularly - Sharon Tate.
Before the tragic 1969 Manson killings, Tate was considered a wardrobe icon, along with many other Hollywood starlets of that time. Here's my updated take on a classic 60s inspired outfit. Instead of white patent or suede boots, I've opted for below-the-knee crochet boots. These boots are fantastic for spring, summer or a mild autumn. I've worn them with a white mini dress and a polo neck black jumper, silver hoops, nude lipstick and false eyelashes.
